On a visit to the Santa Catalina area of Palma de Mallorca this week I decided to try a place I’ve passed so many times but never been into: Ziva To Go. It was the first raw food café on Mallorca and is located right opposite the area’s covered market – so freshness of the ingredients is never in question!
Healthy Food to Eat In or To Go
It’s a place where you can eat in or buy to take out. Although I didn’t have much time, I decided to eat in, as several other people were doing. There’s a large central table that you may be sharing with other customers, a few high stools at a window counter, and couple of small tall wooden tables with stools. I hauled myself up (I’m not very tall) onto a stool and enjoyed watching the passers-by in this busy bohemian area of Palma.
Ziva To Go is described its owners Petra and Vicki as offering ‘raw cuisine with gourmet flair’. When I visited there were several interesting salads (I had one with quinoa), smoothies, green juices and some sweet treats too. If you’re a fan of Illy coffee, as I am, you’ll be able to get your Illy-fix here too.
Products To Buy Too
They also sell a range of products, including a vegan protein powder, Chai seeds, Maca powder and more, so it’s worth checking out if you’re a health-conscious eater.
